Capcom announces Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 to be released in 2011

Capcom announces that Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of the Two Worlds is going to be released in the Spring of 2011 for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. From the promotional art of the Capcom blog, the characters that are going to be in the game are Chris Redfield, The Hulk, Wolverine, Morrigan, Iron Man, and Ryu. The artwork also indicates other characters in silhouette according to Brian Crecente from Kotaku, are identified as Captain America, Super Skrull, Chun-Li, Deadpool, Felicia, Dante, Frank West, Mephisto, Trish(Devil May Cry), and Doctor Doom. You can also find the trailer here.

Here is the artwork from the Capcom Blog:

This fast-paced and 'explosive action' fighting game series had fans asking for more. And finally after a decade, Capcom delivers with a new sequel promising more of the same formula including 3v3 Tag Team Battles, Living Art Comic Book Style Graphics, and an Evolved Vs. Fighting System. So if you're one of those fans who can't wait to play the new sequel, you can dust off your old consoles and FightSticks and play the previous prequels for a temporary fix and to hone your skills. But if you lost your copy of the game, no problem! The Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network Store has Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 up for download. A good move to hype up the game before the third game hits store shelves.

Hopefully this time around, the balance of characters wouldn't be an issue. I think for that to happen, Capcom would have to tone down the number of characters unlike the vast amount of 56 characters they had in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. They can always add characters later as DLC after it has been tested and balanced out to insure that it wouldn't be a problem this time around. Let me know what you guys think! Don't forget to comment or subscribe. Thanks.

First steps onto a God of War 3 Review

So this is my first time playing a God of War game and it so happens I'm starting with the third one. I haven't gotten that much play time from it yet, but from what I have experienced so far, is that the game is like a mix of Mortal Kombat, 300(the movie), and Prince of Persia. This action/adventure has a storyline that will have you yearning for the next piece of the story as you progress, combat that will satisfy those who seek fast paced battles with an unending supply of gore, and puzzles to change the pace of the game so combat doesn't become a grind.

Starting off God of War III, the game brings you into a war between the Greek Olympian Gods and The Titans. The opening scenes were epic and intense as you're trying climb up Mount Olympus to get to Zeus while battling Poseidon. You take control of Kratos and you fight a few enemies then the game immediately throws you in front of one of Poseidon's water serpents which I found out was only a mini-boss. The environment keeps your blood flowing as you're fighting on one of the Titans named Gaia.

In this game you can obtain a variety of weaponry and also have the ability to level them up to obtain new moves, an increase of damage, or in some case new souls to summon. The type of combat is a hack-n-slash with finishing moves that uses a button pressing mini-game to execute a string of attacks to finish off the enemy type of system. The difference between this hack-n-slash and others I've played is that you get a whole load of moves you can choose from, whether it be moves to fight a whole mob of enemies or just a single enemy or if you or your enemies are in the air. The combat varies depending on what you're going up against. For example, if you're fighting a group of the weaker enemies you would just unleash all hell upon them without needing to go on the defensive, but if you were fighting stronger enemies, you would have to perform rolls to dodge attacks and also time your attacks until you weaken them enough to execute finishing moves on them. The boss fights are really fun because throughout the course of the battles, the stage of the battle changes or evolve in a sense as the battle progresses. The combat in this game isn't too difficult but it's challenging enough to keep you entertained.

I will write a complete review on this game later with ratings and everything. Keep visiting for updates and please leave comments, thoughts, and suggestions!
